| Christine Salins has spent her life dreaming about and discovering delicious food and faraway places. After gaining a Bachelor of Arts degree (journalism major) from the University of Southern Queensland, she spent more than 20 years as a newspaper journalist, including nine years as Food & Wine Editor for The Canberra Times. Since 2003, she has worked as a freelance writer specialising in food, wine and travel. A member of the Food Media Club of Australia, the Australian Society of Travel Writers and the International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association, she welcomes commissions for books and travel guides, magazines, newspapers and websites.
