Friday Food TipFoodLogoAn easy pasta sauce (for tagliatelle): Sauté a chopped garlic clove and 2 shallots (or one onion), pour in a good splodge of cream, some grated parmesan cheese and stir till it comes together nicely. Add some chopped smoked salmon and a little bit of dill. A good trick for all pasta dishes is to add a little bit of the water that the pasta has been cooked in. The starch in the water binds the sauce together nicely.
