Scotchmans Hill 2010 Sutton Vineyard Chardonnay

Wednesday Wine Pick, Christine Salins Wine Reviews.Wine Glass Green

Scotchmans Hill 2010 Sutton Vineyard Chardonnay, $50

Established in 1982 on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula, Scotchmans Hill built a reputation early on as a leading producer of cool maritime-climate wines. The climate, along with the maturity of the vines – the fruit is sourced from its premium 34-year-old Sutton vineyard – produces a finesse with this Chardonnay that is irresistible. The creamy mouthfeel and delicate balance of oak and bright, citrus/stonefruit flavours makes this a gorgeous, special-occasion wine for someone who truly appreciates quality Chardonnay.
