A rising star in the winemaking industry, Ella draws on quality Adelaide Hills fruit to craft Croser’s highly regarded sparkling wines. She loves whipping up refreshing spritzes using sparkling wine as the base. Simply mix a few ingredients, gently pop the cork, and let the bubbles flow. Easy peasy!
Classic Spritz
30ml Aperol or Campari
120ml Croser NV Sparkling
60ml sparkling water
Orange slice or twist for garnish
Fill a wine glass with ice, add Aperol or Campari, then top with sparkling wine and sparkling water. Stir gently, garnish with an orange slice or twist, and serve.
The Australian 78 Spritz
½ teaspoon brown sugar
30ml lemon juice
30ml 78° Classic Gin
120ml Croser NV x 78° Sparkling
Lemon twist to garnish
Start with brown sugar, a squeeze of lemon and your classic gin, then to top, add the sparkling wine. Garnish with a lemon twist.
For a pink variation bursting with red berry and spice flavours, swap out the classic gin for 78° Sunset Gin and use Croser Rosé x 78°.
Elderflower Spritz
60ml elderflower liqueur
90ml Croser NV Sparkling
30ml sparkling water
Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Fill a glass with ice, add elderflower liqueur, sparkling wine, and sparkling water. Stir, garnish with mint leaves, and serve.
Strawberry Basil Spritz
3 to 4 fresh basil leaves
60ml strawberry puree
30ml lemon juice
120ml Croser Rosé x 78°
Soda water
Sliced strawberries and basil leaves for garnish
Muddle basil leaves at the bottom of a glass and add strawberry puree and lemon juice. Fill the glass with ice, pour in sparkling Rosé, and top with soda water. Garnish with sliced strawberries and basil leaves.
