Friday Food TipFoodLogoBliss balls: Place ¾ cup pitted dates in a bowl, cover with boiling water and allow to stand for about 5 minutes until soft. Drain and place in a food processor along with ½ cup raisins, 1¾ cups desiccated coconut, a grated carrot, a teaspoon of nutmeg and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Process until smooth, then chill for a short time before rolling tablespoons of the mixture into balls and rolling in coconut. Keep refrigerated until ready to eat.
