Swan Bay 2014 Shiraz, $22
From Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula, about a third of this Shiraz was aged in tanks and the rest in French oak for 10 months. It’s a lovely easy-drinking wine, vibrant with plum and blueberry flavours and a hint of peppery spice. We enjoyed it with a Woombye smelly cheese which it went remarkably well with, holding its own against such strong flavours.
