2015 was the earliest and quickest vintage that this Victorian producer has had for a number of years. With a cool summer and crop yields on the low side, the resulting wines have shown great varietal definition and depth. This lovely Shiraz was wild fermented and matured in French oak for 16 months and consequently has lots of savoury complexity along with nicely balanced oak. It’s a medium-bodied style with hints of licorice and spice. Those who like their Shiraz gentler than the big, rich styles from warmer regions will love its elegance and finesse.
